Friday morning starts as all mornings in the Vault do. The klaxons sound off at seven in the morning; some awaken easily, some don't, but the point remains that for better or worse, everyone has to leave the room they were sleeping in eventually. A few will be spared from the immediate knowledge that something is amiss – those whose rooms are tucked away in the corners of the dorms and don't have a clear view of the hallway may get a few seconds' peace of mind. However, as soon as the main hallway is visible it becomes obvious that something isn't right. It isn't like the first week, where the blood was contained to the far end of the building. This time, the blood starts in the dormitory hallway. It looks like it's starting near one of the dormitory rooms toward the middle of the floor. >Explore?

Time to do this again, same as with all the others. Its a sickening routine by now.

He'll start with a cursory examination of the body. Is there anything that immediately sticks out of place that will get his attention?]

[Poor, sweet Sakura-san. Always treating others with respect, and here she is dead.

Mouri doesn't have all his confidence back but he'll try, at least. The first thing that gets his attention is try to see if Megumi has something in her fist]

[Sigrun peers in with the others, taking in the sight (broken legs, bleeding out) before she steps back to let people have their room for investigation and the like, rolling her shoulders before deciding to hit up Black to tell him that she'd won the bet.

Like, good thing he didn't bet against her. He woulda loooost.]

[Well, that was a nice attempt to try and roll back to sleep after the morning alarm.

...And as he'd expected, he was woken back up by more klaxons a few minutes afterwards anyway. At least he didn't have to see her body this time.

Cherryblod takes one look at the blood outside Megumi's room and heads in the opposite direction - to the incinerator room. Maybe someone stuffed a sword in here again.

First off, anything immediately noticeable?]

Let's take a look at the body, even though he really doesn't want to. Any injuries that immediately stand out?]

[Still a little out of it from the sudden signs of violence right outside his door, Colress does follow the others into Megumi's room.

And well. As much as he wishes he can say he's surprised by this after what was found outside...the truth of the matter is that he can't.]

Miss Megumi...

[Bodies are startling no matter what, but this one hits Colress particularly hard. This is his next door neighbor whom he enjoyed speaking with. What makes it worse...is that it seems she died in this room, likely while he was just one wall away and completely unknowing of what was happening.

He feels sick.]

[Yosuke is a little late coming out of his corner room, so he misses the body being found. One glance and a flash of bright hair is enough to tell him who it is.

Don't dwell on it. Don't look too long. Instead he decides to try and back track the blood trail while the others investigate the corpse]

[Probably the amount of blood on her body and clothes; that's the most obvious concern right now.]

[So much blood. Strangely, it seems to actually be a trail... And it's not going towards Megumi's room.]

[Colress is still a little shaken up, but he wants to help with the investigation for sure.

While the others investigate the body, is there anything else off about Megumi's room itself?]

[...Bruce's blood goes cold the moment he sees the body. Just last night, they had been talking, and the week before they were working in the sewing room together...

It just feels so much more surreal now, this time.

He feels the anger rising, just like before, but he squashes it down and ensures that his voice is steady as he speaks.]

--we've got no time to waste.

[They need to solve this. One way or another.]

[ Getting as far away from the body as possible definitely doesn't sound like the worst idea right about now, but what's off in here? Anything an obvious mess? ]

[Good call! It looks like it's heading toward the incinerator room.]

[Speedwagon's Just sort of found himself hanging around the doorway, watching the others go about their business, and Megumi... laying there.

There she is, dead. Like the other poor souls they've found.

She didn't deserve this.]

[Yep, trotting down the hall, looking for anything else before hitting the incinerator room]

[That is a lot of blood... how about her clothes first now, specifically? How badly are they damaged, if they are at all?]

[You bet it is. The whole place is wrecked. This is a disaster zone, dang.]

[To the incinerator room, correct? That's suspicious as heck. Does the trail match up with something being dragged or was someone dripping blood all the way there?]

He can open it up and see if there's anything in there once it's cooled down a bit.
