Week 5.
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 17 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

He can be found in the music room for a good amount of the late morning and early afternoon; he's been getting better at it rather quickly, though that might be due at least partially to the whole...computer processing thing, and he's still entirely too heavy on the left hand and half the time he is, to quote Black's general thoughts on the matter, "banging it like his lover's on the keys", but you know what, at least it's starting to sound like something.
...Though the sudden klaxons partway through the day are going to startle him like hell, at least he'll kind of. resettle. once it becomes obvious nobody died. Though he's not going to return to his playing, even after he sits down at that bench again; he just crosses his legs and starts texting, because it's probably good to know if their captor has had some sort of seizure or just...up and died or something.
But you know what, in general that's fine? As long as they haven't been left to rot in here or something everything will work out one way or another, and at least it doesn't look like anybody else is dead yet (because he has a feeling the incentive will work on somebody, but seriously, guys, that would have been a record).
He can also be found in Room 13 as the night wears on; the door's open as always, and it looks like he's got some more of those sketchpads with him – he actually seems to be drawing something in them as opposed to writing all over, which is pretty much a first. But it seems the decent mood from earlier hasn't faded, klaxons aside, so that's got to count for something.]
Music Room
[It's not as though Mettaton's the only person he could have heard that piano playing coming from, but he is the person who plays the most aggressively.
Cherryblod takes a seat on the floor near the piano.]
Having fun?

Of course, sweetheart! Today's been pretty good for me overall, actually.

[Monday would be hard to top. So would trial day.]
no subject
[And from the sound of it, it is; it's easier to actually express the damn feelings when the feelings aren't negative, who the fuck knew.]
Hopefully it'll keep getting better from here.
no subject
Let's hope, at least.
...Not a big fan of undoing things either?
no subject
[He shrugs, though, and the question doesn't seem to be dampening his mood any.]
But it's still just something I really like thinking about for now.
no subject
[Well, if it's not bothering Mettaton then it's not bothering Cherryblod all that much, either.]
For me - it's not something I'd throw you and Yosuke under the bus for. Anyway, the further back you go the less likely you are to end up in a place you want.
If I didn't become a mobster, I wouldn't have killed all those people, but I probably wouldn't have met my wife, and if I didn't meet her my daughter wouldn't exist, and that's just unacceptable.
no subject
[...you did it, Mettaton, you cracked the code.]
There is one thing I can think of that's happening back home. It'd be objectively better if I changed it. And it's true, I don't know what would happen if I did that! I just know it would be better if I cut that off at the start instead of letting it all...happen. I guess.
But I'll worry about that whenever we're done with everything here.

But he'll come across Mettaton! So there's that.]
... Haven't seen a body lying around, have you? [He says tentatively, stepping into the room. everything's fine here...]

Oh - hello, darling. It looks like that was some sort of error? Or at least, that's the most I've been able to work out. Our captor is being about as helpful as he ever is.
no subject
So you sent him a message too, eh? [He's a little happy with that.] I'd wager almost all of us were doing the same after that surprise.
no subject
[Do you understand how absolutely boned we would be. We would be so boned.]
no subject
[Because seriously, how much of a cop-out would that be?]
...As It is, I'm glad that's not the case. I made a call to him just a while ago, and he seems as inhospitable as ever.
no subject
So you're having trouble getting things out of him too - we talk sometimes, but it doesn't always get anywhere. I guess I'll just have to turn up the charm a bit more!
Sounds like you're looking forward to killing him, though. I don't blame you - he definitely deserves it.
no subject
I just think that we'll have to deal with him, sooner or later. Then we'll figure out what to do with him. It's not like this whole disaster can go on forever.
[They simply don't have enough bodies.]
no subject
[And that does sound genuine, a bit more toned-down than he usually is.]
After everything that's happened, I don't see any guilt in it.
[........]
Unless you're the sort that just doesn't want there to be any more killing at all.

Good evening to you too, sweetheart.

We have a romantic date tomorrow. Misa's putting it together for us. Not really sure what to expected, but maybe it'll be fun?
no subject
...Well, knowing Misa-darling it'll probably be something good, at least.
[I mean, it's not like anyone else here knows how to date outside of Cherryblod, and you don't have your dad put your romantic dates together because no?]
no subject
If you say so. I still feel like a fish out of water every time I talk to her, she's on a total different level. Really ticklish though.
[Now. More importantly and less fish out of water.]
Whatcha drawing?
no subject
Well... I did say I'd try to show you what the other monsters from the Underground looked like, didn't I? At one point or another.
[Despite the...everything that he's told her regarding the Underground recently, it doesn't seem like a bad topic?]
no subject
[Not that she's any better. Colors, fun. Actual drawing, not so much.]
no subject
[And he'll pass the book over easily enough and he doesn't seem too bothered at it, so he's actually presumably not completely hopeless - as it is, the drawings are...very sketchy and there are occasional instances where anatomy is kind of "what", but they get the point across.
Asgore and Toriel are the ones he's been focusing on, because she did ask about the fuzzy rulers, but a few pages back there are a few other things - basic drawings of Undyne and Alphys, mostly. Also random Burgerpants because why the fuck not. (It's not terribly flattering.) No skelebros, though, because like hell if he understands anatomy well enough to even attempt either.
...The fuzzy rulers are most definitely not cats.]
