Week 6.

WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. [ ... She's not buying that announcement for a second. Just like Gabriel had said, it's ridiculous. At this point, she's not even sure if anyone's going to be buying the Kingmaker's claims.

At least.... she hopes as much.

Anyway, in the morning after breakfast, she can be found tending to her laundry in the second laundry room. After that, Aqua makes her way to the library, where it's easier to think. She's read quite a few of the books, and she's making her way through another stack.

Later on in the day, Aqua decides to make lunch for everyone. It's probably been a while since anyone's had pizza, right? There's quite a selection of different types, and there's even some pre-baked crusts and other toppings just in case someone wants to make their own.

After that, she visits the chemistry lab, where she takes stock of... mostly everything? Someone may have done it, but it never hurts to be too careful.

Finally, she grabs a bite of dinner before heading back to room 15. The door is propped open a crack, and she's still working away at those puzzles... ]

[Sigrun's corner is getting more and more lonely every week, and the absence of Misa is all too apparent to the older woman every time she goes in; that said, she's absolutely visiting the only other girl left in the vault, pushing open the door slightly to watch her for a moment.]

What're you up to?

[ It feels... it feels so strange, to be half the female population here. That makes it so much more important to get out of here, right? Aqua knows morale is down--a lot--but... ]

Hello, Sigrun. I'm working on some of these puzzles from the game room.

[That is practically an invite to come in, so she will! Morale may be at an all-time low with the lack of girls here, but... Sigrun seems better than before, ruffling Aqua's hair a little as she sits down.]

Are they fun? I mean, for you. Puzzles are never fun for me. Usually. I haven't found one that I liked yet, anyway.

[ Aw. Aqua's never had anyone ruffle her hair like that, and it sort of warms her heart. ]

I've always enjoyed them--especially with a friend.

[Colress only intended to stop by the library quick to put some books away and take a few more to read in his room, but when he sees Aqua there, he can't help but want to strike up some conversation.]

Looks like we have the same idea. Find anything particularly interesting? I could use some suggestions.

I haven't quite struck gold, yet. I did read a novel about a girl and her romance with a vampire... but it hardly seemed healthy.

Ahh, so I see you found the supernatural romance novels as well. I considered taking one, but at the same time, I'm not quite sure I am ready to put myself through that much pain quite yet.

...That said, you have my admiration for putting up with it yourself.

[ She sort of laughs a little awkwardly here... ]

I couldn't get myself to not finish it, even if it wasn't a good book. I would have wondered too much about the ending.

It is not one of those multi-part series though, is it? Those things never seem to end.

[...You know, this isn't really a place he expected to see her - but then, it's probably not a place he'd be expected to frequent, either. He'll come in eventually, though, and he'll be kind of looking over the containers she's already taken stock of.]

...The Kingmaker is lucky that I don't know how thick the walls are. I don't know everything about how humans do explosives, but I know enough about what goes into them to know that we could probably do some damage to this place with some of these.

Well, of course! It's just a bad idea without knowing what's out there, anyway. For all we know, the air is sulfur or something else that all of you find unbreathable.

No--pizza usually isn't sweet. The most basic one is a crust or a sort of flatbread, tomato sauce, and cheese. You can put nearly anything on it--meat, vegetables, more cheese, herbs...
