WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. I know you know healthier ways of dealing with this than that. And I know you'll use them instead, the next time. [he speaks with a great deal of care. trying his best to not come off as condescending as he tries making a move.] I just... Talking is one of those ways. It can help, even if it's only a little bit.

That's much better. I just didn't want you to hurt yourself like I did when I punched the wall a few weeks ago. [ He doesn't sound judgemental, he really just wants to make sure that she won't injure herself.]

If I entered the pool, I would sink. Gem bodies aren't composed of water.

Anyway, a vaccine is a kind of preventive medicine that's essentially a weaker version of whatever virus it acts against. If you took too much you'd probably get actually sick.

He wasn't a demon, and he wasn't a human either. There's only one other type of being where I'm from, and those are angels from Celestia. They usually don't associate with demons, they tend to stick to themselves. If they go anywhere, it's usually the human realm.

[ It was easy to miss and Killia hadn't said what he had (basically) figured out except to one other person.]

I should probably apologize or something, for getting all snappish at you during the trial. Jasper kind of... Well, she didn't let me have it or anything, but she kind of proved your point afterwards. About people getting upset if I die or whatever.

[Character sheets! These obviously aren't the ones you were working on, but there are five of them. The information on them isn't very important since there aren't any player names or anything of the sort, but you've certainly found... something.]

[Right, she had tried to heal him back then, but without her magic, well, she can't do much there.]

So you're going to teach me how to fight, then, right? So I don't hurt myself. I know how to use a sword, but I've never trained in actual fist fighting.

[She smiles at him. It's confident and almost telling. She's not all talk.]

[He nods and takes the bowl. It takes a moment for him to look it over and smell it, but he eventually takes a slow bite.]

A night's not gonna starve me, but I'm not turning down good food, either.

[Of course, he does inhale his food, so it's not going to last very long, either, especially not when he's passing mouthfuls to Weavile.]

[ Mikazuki mind wanders a little, but he concludes swiftly that Yuuri probably didn't like. Strip completely, so that gets nipped in the bud relatively quickly. ]

What a wonderful first encounter...and was he the one who may have been the victor in that dance-off?

[...He says as he moves to take one of those Chiyuki dolls and put it in his pocket. This is a lot less weird than the necklaces.]

[ ...The move happened because Mikazuki is such a novice it was the only thing he could think of on the spot, and therefore it was very crude and disgraceful. Still, he thought it was quite fun, and sported a happy grin on his face, even if he has like probably a bruise on his face from that second punch now. ]

As for his sister... well, they made the stupid mistake of leaving Ylisstol, the capital, unguarded. So Aversa and I barged in with our army, took over and waited for the Exalt to come marching into our hands! We would have stayed there if it had been safe, but I'd rather fight the princeling on my own soil.

[Homefield advantage and all of that. Gangrel also sees absolutely nothing ironic about this because somehow that hasn't sunk in yet. He's doing great.]

This Zero individual sounded like he was quite powerful, in order to do something like that.

[ Or....really sneaky, he supposes, but this is the first thing he thinks upon hearing this. ]

[You know, Kimbley isn't altogether sure what to do with anything that's been happening here for the past several days, but at the same time Vanille had come to try talking to him after he'd kind of had A Day, so the least he can do is...

...Well, not exactly return the favor, but at least he'll notice her and try not to be a total goddamn disaster in her direction, and we'll all have to call that good enough for government work.]

I mean... yeah, those don't sound like the worst thing in the world. At least, as long as you avoid quicksand, but that never actually ended up being as much of a problem as I thought it was gonna be in real life.
