Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

...though what was unpleasant was... hm. If these were actual memories, how much really was missing? And more importantly... what exactly was he still missing? Bruce was heading the meetings, so there'd probably be one tomorrow. He could bring things up then, so for now, let's see. Was there a new floor, then? Well, let's just take a...
...oh, of course, they were rewarded for the death of the girl with musical powers with a music room. Of course that would be how it would go. He's not even surprised right now. So he'll... just be avoiding that for now, instead checking out the rest of the floor and noting another laundry room. ...hmmm. He has to wonder about this now.
Well, first, he'll be milling in the game room, where he'll be looking for something specifically... but it doesn't seem to be there, judging by his frustrated expression and exasperated mumbling.]
...they've got to have Pai Sho, right...? What even is any of this?
[Later on in the day, he'll be investigating in the downstairs, less fancy laundry room to see if there's anything unusual about it, because why... why have two. Why not just have the one with the washing machines from the start. What kind of game are you playing here, Kingmaker. Has there been a secret in the laundry room that they've missed this whole time.]

[Hello, Tarrlok, you seem discontent.]
Not familiar with that one.

I am, however, extremely disappointed.

Pai Sho? What's that?
no subject
It's really a shame that none of you are probably familiar... but then again, I'm not familiar with many of the games here, either, so it could be fun for me, at the very least.
no subject
But in the meantime, I could teach you how to play some of these games.
no subject
What would you recommend, then?
no subject
Hmm... [ She bends down, going through some of the board games. ] There's Monopoly, which is a really long game about getting land and managing your money. Looks like there's some kind of knock-off Battleship here too.

That kinda like chess or something?

It's a logic game, in any case, played on a checkered board. I'm no good at it at all, though.
What about the game you're lookin' for?

Shame there's not anything like that around here, but then again I haven't recognized much around here.

[ Aqua sounds a bit more tired than usual--that's what happens when you dream about hearing your master's been killed and one of your best friends is behind it. She at least manages to put on a front--everything's fine, she's fine, really. ]

...yeah, right, stick to the small talk, then.]
Well... it is a little similar to some of the games I've looked through, but not enough that I could just re-purpose another board for the sake of teaching people, unfortunately. I'd probably have to make all of the tiles myself.
no subject
Aqua puts a hand to her chin. ]
What sort of tiles are they?
no subject
Anyway, each tile has different rules associated with it... which can also be different depending on where you're playing, too, since every region has very slightly different rules. I'm most familiar with Northern Water Tribe rules, obviously, but I feel like I'd only want to play casually in Republic City.
no subject
[ Aqua's actually interested in this stuff, Tarrlok. ]
Then, say, you could tell from where someone comes by the way they play the game?
